Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage Vizual Labs uses on vizuallabs.co and in the client portal and dashboard, and why each one exists. We keep this list short on purpose — we don't run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
2. The cookie we set
When you sign in to the client portal or dashboard, we set one cookie, vizuallabs-session. It's strictly necessary — it's how the site recognizes you're signed in between page loads. It's marked httpOnly, so it can't be read by page scripts, and it's cleared when you sign out or when the session expires. We don't set this cookie, or any cookie, for signed-out visitors browsing the public site.
3. Your theme preference
Your light/dark mode choice (the toggle in the header and footer) is remembered in your browser's local storage, not a cookie — it never leaves your device and we never see it. If you clear your browser's site data, your theme choice resets to your system default.
4. What we don't use
We don't use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or a third-party analytics platform. We don't sell or share browsing data with ad networks, because we don't collect any to begin with.
5. Third-party cookies
Because we don't embed third-party trackers, we're not aware of any third-party cookie being set through normal use of this site. If that ever changes — for example, if we add an embedded tool that sets its own cookie — we'll update this page first.
6. Managing cookies
Since the only cookie we set is the one that keeps you signed in, there's nothing to opt out of as a signed-out visitor — there's simply no cookie yet. If you're signed in and clear vizuallabs-session through your browser's cookie settings, you'll be signed out and asked to log in again next time.
7. Changes to this policy
We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever this list changes — for instance, if a future feature needs a new cookie, it will be added here before it ships.
